We are not responsible for tapes lost or damaged in transit by courier. We strongly recommend that customers insure their shipment for the full value of the data. RIPDat is not liable for loss or damage caused by postal or courier services.

If a tape cannot be read due to pre-existing damage or degradation, no service charge applies for that tape. We will return it with the rest of the order.
We treat all data encountered on customer tapes as strictly confidential. We do not copy, retain, or disclose any content found on tapes beyond what is required to deliver the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We primarily serve customers within the European Union. We also accept orders from the United Kingdom and the United States. Customers from other regions are welcome to contact us — we will assess feasibility and provide a custom quote that accounts for shipping logistics and costs.
